Manchester has a Creative Director. So does Mexico City. Why not Toronto?
Imagine a website where community organizers could look at the best urban projects in the city's history and around the world. Imagine that same site has every farmer's market poster made in Toronto. Imagine an "ugly tax" on new buildings. Imagine a city that was looking to Scandinavia for its micro parks proposals. Imagine that chefs and archivists and surgeons and teachers and Portuguese gardeners and graphic designers all had a place to meet to talk about what a future city could look like. Imagine a person who was not trying to revolutionize that way Toronto looks but rather work with diverse communities to help them tell their own visual stories about the city.
Imagine Toronto, but better looking.
